How APR works
Upload your original digital work.
APR creates a unique SHA-256 fingerprint representing the exact file you registered. Only the fingerprint is used for timestamping.
APR Timekeeper, APR's independent cryptographic timestamp authority, anchors the fingerprint with an RFC-3161 timestamp and returns a cryptographic token and serial number.
Your registration can be independently verified on APR's verification page, where APR Timekeeper validates the token and confirms the fingerprint match.
Use your certificate, verification URL, QR code or APR badge when sharing your work.
Your file creates its own digital fingerprint.
APR generates a SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint from the exact file you register. If the file changes, the fingerprint changes.
When the fingerprints match, the digital file corresponds to the registered record.
